Meetings

The Pineywoods Beekeepers Association meets each month on the second Thursday of the month.

Location: Lufkin VFW Post 1836, 1800 Ford Chapel Road, Lufkin
Get Directions

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Upcoming Dates:
October 8, 2026 - Nancy Walker will demo several items – a pollen feeder, yellow jacket trap, and easy-build robbing screen – and will show us how she makes OA/glycerin sponges. Roger Gauthier will talk about starting three-frame nucs.

NOTE: The VFW ladies will no longer be cooking for us because too few people are eating for it to be worthwhile. However, you can order food at the cantina.
